Hi there pet parents and pet lovers, I am Tracey Ordish DTC-CDT and I have over 7 years experience of working with dogs and over 10 years experience of being a dog guardian!
I am a Certified Dog Trainer and a Distinctive Dog Trainer in Southampton and I love to work with guardians and their dogs, using one to one dog training, throughout each stage of their lives. I will support your journey using kind, ethical, and compassionate methods!
I take a holistical approach to supporting your training journey as behaviour is the consequence of what lies beneath. Before we can modify behaviour, we need to understand where it comes from and why. When you learn to build a two way communication with your dog, your relationship can flourish!
"Behaviour alerts us to the emotions of the individual!"
"We need to understand their needs in order to help them!"
IMPORTANT : I do not offer quick fix solutions as most of the time these tend to be detrimental to your dogs health and go against my pledge to use force free methods.
If a dogs needs are not being met, you may see an escalation of behaviour as they are trying to communicate their need to you!
Take a look at the 'Hierarchy of Dog Needs' on the right to understand what we can do to help fulfil your dogs needs.
The 'Hierarchy of Dog Needs' was created by Linda Michaels M.A, Psychology and Founder of Do No Harm Training & Behaviour!
I will guide and support you and your furry pal using kind, ethical, and compassionate teachings to achieve a more positive future together!
By creating tailor made plans for you and your dog, I will help you to find ways to achieve your goals.
We will work at your dogs pace taking into account their emotional and cognitive needs.
I will provide ongoing mentorship throughout the program and beyond to ensure you have support when you need it!
You are not in this alone!
IMPORTANT : I do not offer quick fix solutions as most of the time these tend to be detrimental to your dogs health and go against my pledge to use force free methods.
